Review[ Slight spoiler warning ]

This has to be one of the most unique anime releases of Summer 2019 or honestly since I started watching anime the most unique anime I've ever seen period. Dr. Stone follows the main character Senku after unknown events lead to everyone in the world turning to stone. Although everyone is turned to stone you don't lose consciousness you're awake at least Senku was and he remained awake counting the years down until he was able to free himself. What makes this anime unique to me is that it isn't some action-packed thriller of survival. This anime follows a man of science that's his weapon he isn't some insanely op prodigy fighter with hidden powers just one guy with an eager love for science and the progress of humanity. You'll enjoy the ride not because of how strong the main character is, but because of his insanely in-depth knowledge of how our world runs and how he plans to rebuild it in a world with zero infrastructure.

I can't lie this is another generic Isekai in most aspects, but slightly different let's be honset though we all are guilty of loving this genre way too much. This story follows two friends that get caught up and teleported to another world obviously, but the spell was only meant for one of them, but the other friend jumped into the spell and got sent together. Surprise the main character is extremely op and has tons of potential within him. The funny part of this anime is throughout, it he will call his powers cheats and if we're being fair they kind of are in a way.

This is the 2nd season running for this anime, so to say the least it does have a fanbase for it. The second season for far ( It's only 11 episodes in while i'm writing this) follows the same main character through the same city with mostly the same characters. Not much has changed between the 1st and 2nd season in my opinion which I don't mind. The second season keeps to the forumla the original 1st season had and doesn't try to force change upon the world. This is something I honestly believe other anime can learn from. If it's not broke don't fix it.

From the creators of the amazing and incredible Soul Eater "Have you noticed my fangirling yet?" they bring us "Enen no Shouboutai" or "Fire Force" Immediately out the gate you can tell who created this series with the iconic art style that has not changed at all. The art direction amazing, concept amazing, character design amazing, story... I'm not sure yet usually when I binge an anime I get into and can't stop, but with Fire Force, I got to episode 3 and haven't had the urge to watch anymore. I think because it pulled a Fairy Tail where the main character won a fight after getting beat up for an hour with no logical reason for his win. Which, as I've gotten older puts me off. I believe I may come to love it even if it's just for the nostalgia.

Oh, Japan how I love you. How do I start with this anime? I believe this anime took a little inspiration from "Cells at work" If you haven't seen it check it out, but anyway, this anime follows a bunch of high school girls on a journey towards learning how to tone and have a healthy body through weightlifting the anime doesn't take itself very seriously with a lot of jokes and gags for your entertainment. What's very surprising though to me at least is the educational part of this anime. That's right you will learn they have in-depth little learning sessions snuck into this anime that will teach you true and great facts about how to train and tone various parts of your body. You'll learn something laugh and enjoy the journey.
